Emergency Eyewash Station Procedures:

Activate: Push the lever, pull the handle, or step on the pedal to start the flow.
Flush: Hold eyelids open with thumbs and forefingers to ensure water reaches all surfaces; roll eyeballs back and forth.
Duration: Flush for a min. of 15 minutes.
Contacts: If wearing contacts, flush for 15 minutes, removing them during the process.

Emergency Safety Shower Procedures:

Activate: Pull the handle, chain, or lever to start the flow.
Drench: Stand directly under the showerhead for a min. of 15 minutes.
Clothing: Remove all contaminated clothing, including shoes and jewelry, while under the water.
Position: Rotate under the water to ensure all affected skin is thoroughly rinsed.

General Safety Guidelines:

Location: Know the location of the nearest station (within a 10-second walk).
Assistance: Have a colleague call for medical help (e.g., 911).
Safety Data Sheet (SDS): Bring the SDS of the chemical to medical personnel.
